Rocks

Rocks is a series of work made using found pieces of Coraline Crag from the Suffolk Coast. A sample of these works are shown below. The Rocks theme explores time and the earth’s cycle. The viewer is invited to read the embedded life history of the rock and consider the transformation of living creatures to mineral form that has occurred over time . The spirit Mimi figures emerge from the rock as life springs from earth.
